Part of the prestigious Iberostar Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Iberostar Torviscas Playa has an enviable position overlooking the sea front promenade and Playa Torviscas beach, in the popular resort of Costa Adeje on the south west coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 20km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1989 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 1997, the modern Hotel Iberostar Torviscas Playa has a total of 470 double guest rooms, which are built over 6 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean towards the nearby island of La Gomera.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals with WiFi access in selected areas of the hotel, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Iberostar Torviscas Playa also offers the use of 4 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 150 people, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

The Hotel Iberostar Torviscas Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
