Part of the Stil Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Plaza is situated at the heart of the business district of the historic City of Santa Cruz, on the rugged north east coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 65km north of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the city where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2007, the modern Hotel Plaza has a total of 93 guest rooms, including 51 standard twin rooms, 40 singles and a further 2 Junior Suites, which are built over 8 floors overlooking the Plaza de la Candelaria.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone with ADSL internet connection point, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views.

In addition to the above features, 2 guest rooms at the Hotel Plaza have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned a la carte restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and a lounge bar.

For business guests, the Hotel Plaza also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 50 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.
