Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2007, the modern Hotel Plaza has a total of 93 guest rooms, including 51 standard twin rooms, 40 singles and a further 2 Junior Suites, which are built over 8 floors overlooking the Plaza de la Candelaria.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone with ADSL internet connection point, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views.

In addition to the above features, 2 guest rooms at the Hotel Plaza have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned a la carte restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and a lounge bar.

For business guests, the Hotel Plaza also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 50 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.
