The 2 key rated Optimist Apartments are situated around 650 metres from the sea front promenade and Playa de las Vistas beach, in a quiet area of the otherwise lively resort of Playa de las Americas on the south coast of Tenerife.

The apartments are approximately 17km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1985 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2013, the modern low rise Optimist Apartments complex has a total of 77 one bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 3 floors around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a combined lounge/dining room with sofa beds, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with a television room and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.
