The 3 key Mar y Sol Apartments are situated around 300 metres from the beach, in the popular resort of Los Cristianos on the south west coast of Tenerife. The apartments are approximately 17km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and 200 metres from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

The modern low rise Mar y Sol complex has a total of 139 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, which are built over 3 floors overlooking a large central pool area. All guest rooms on the complex have been specially adapted for disabled guests, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with wheel-in shower and toilet, and in some cases with bath, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes two large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a further smaller water therapy pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols that have been specially designed for wheelchair users. Both of the pools are equipped with a hoist, and easy to use steps with handrails, to help the elderly and the disabled gain access to the water.

In addition to the above features, the larger pool is also heated all year round to a temperature of approximately 32º C and provides neck-showers, whirlpools, water cascades, Jacuzzi’s and massage showers, whilst the smaller therapy pool is 50 cm deep and has handrails along one side for the purpose of movement therapy. The water temperature in this pool is also kept approximately between 22 ºC and 25º C.

The Mar y Sol Apartments also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment during dinner, ranging from traditional Spanish folk singing, Flamenco shows, Karaoke and live music.
