Formally known as the Hotel Tenerife Princess, the 4 star Hotel Best Tenerife is situated around 300 metres from the sea front promenade and Playa de las Vistas beach, in a quiet area of the otherwise lively resort of Playa de las Americas on the south west coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 17km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1985 and extensively renovated during the winter of 2003, the modern Hotel Best Tenerife has a total of 365 guest rooms, including 353 twin rooms and a further 12 Suites, which are built over 7 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini-club, along with a hard surface tennis court, a squash court, a cardiovascular gymnasium and sauna, and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Best Tenerife also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
