Part of the prestigious Sol Melia Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Sol Princesa Dacil is situated around 200 metres from the sea front promenade, in the popular resort of Los Cristianos on the south west coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 17km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and 500 metres from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1975 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2000, the modern Hotel Sol Princesa Dacil has a total of 364 guest rooms, which are built over 15 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini-club, along with a hard surface tennis court, mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Sol Princesa Dacil also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.

From May to the end of October each year, the Hotel Sol Princesa Dacil is a Flintstones themed hotel, and during this time is especially popular with families travelling with young children. During the summer months, alongside the numerous adult activities, the resident Sol Animation team also provide themed children's clubs with the Baby Rock Club suitable for 0 to 4 years, the Bam Bam Club for 5 to 10 year olds, the Cool Club 10 to 14 years and the Teen Club from 14 to 17 years. Guests are advised that some activities will carry a supplementary charge payable locally.
