Part of the Dream Palace Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Tigotan Lovers & Friends is situated around 500 metres from the Playa de Troya beach, in the popular resort of Playa de las Americas on the south west coast of Tenerife.

The hotel is approximately 17km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1986 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern low rise Hotel Tigotan Lovers & Friends has a total of 416 guest rooms, offering a choice of both twin and single rooms and a further selection of Suites, all of which are built over 5 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, both the "Romance Rooms" and Suites at the Hotel Tigotan Lovers & Friends also have a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, as well as providing bathrobes and slippers, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Tigotan Lovers & Friends also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 240 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pools with Jacuzzi for adults, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a further rooftop infinity pool and Jacuzzi, offering guests panoramic views over the resort.

Guests staying at the Hotel Tigotan Lovers & Friends also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels' Vitanova Wellness Centre, which features a Turkish bath and cardiovascular gymnasium as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments including Thai massage, wraps and facials.

The Hotel Tigotan Lovers & Friends also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
