Part of the Ocean Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel La Paz is situated around 800 metres from the Lago Martianez, in the quiet residential La Paz district, of the popular resort of Puerto de la Cruz on the north West Coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 28km west of the Los Rodeos International Airport, and 1km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1968 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2005, the modern low rise Hotel La Paz has a total of 168 guest rooms, including 163 standard twin rooms and a further 5 singles, which are distributed between a 5 storey main building and 3 storey annexe, and set amidst almost 1,400mē of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, come equipped with a fully fitted "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel La Paz also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, seating a maximum of 150 people, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with an integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a hard surface tennis court, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel La Paz, also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotel's own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a cardiovascular gymnasium, with sauna, Jacuzzi and Turkish Bath, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments.

The Hotel La Paz also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
