Part of the Blue Sea Group of hotels, the 4 star rated Hotel Blue Sea Puerto Resort is situated around 1km from the Lago Martianez, in the quiet residential La Paz district of the popular resort of Puerto de la Cruz on the north west coast of Tenerife.

The hotel is approximately 28km west of the Los Rodeos International Airport, and 1.5km from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1973 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2015, the modern Hotel Blue Sea Puerto Resort has a total of 390 guest rooms, offering a choice of twin and single rooms, which are distributed between the 7 storey Bonanza building and 6 storey Canarife building, and set amidst almost 9,100m2 of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, high speed WiFi internet access, a satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area.

In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Blue Sea Puerto Resort also offers the use of 2 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 250 people, both of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes two large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's sections, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols.

Guests staying at the Hotel Blue Sea Puerto Resort, also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the hotels own Spa and Wellness Centre, which features a sauna and Jacuzzi, as well as offering a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatment.

Of special interest to sports enthusiasts, the Hotel Blue Sea Puerto Resort also offers the use of a multi-sports activity court suitable for volleyball, football and basketball etc.

The Hotel Blue Sea Puerto Resort also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
