Part of the Hap Group of hotels, the 4 star Hotel Atlantis has an enviable position overlooking the sea front promenade and Playa Martianez beach, in the popular resort of Puerto de la Cruz on the north West Coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 28km west of the Los Rodeos International Airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort, where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1971 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2001, the modern Hotel Atlantis has a total of 320 guest rooms, including 298 standard twin and a further 22 singles, which are built over 14 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Atlantis also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with an integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces and gardens overlooking the Atlantic Ocean which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a smaller rooftop swimming pool for adults, offering guests panoramic views over the resort, along with a cardiovascular gymnasium with sauna and Jacuzzi.

The Hotel Atlantis also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment in the lobby bar, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
