Built in 1988 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern low rise Bungalows Atlantida - Las Plataneras complex has a total of 214 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 2 floors, and set amidst spacious sun terraces around a central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator and microwave oven, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, pay per view satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services, and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, along with a cardiovascular gymnasium with Jacuzzi.

The Bungalows Atlantida - Las Plataneras also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
