Built in 1996 and extensively refurbished during the late Spring of 2007, the modern low rise Hotel Turquesa Playa has a total of 350 guest rooms, which are built over 5 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, bathrobes and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television with music channels, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with 5 air conditioned buffet and thematic style restaurants with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Turquesa Playa also offers the use of a large air conditioned conference and meeting room, which is equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, along with a further 2 smaller children's splash pools, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with a mini golf course, and both pool and table tennis tables.

For sports enthusiasts, the Hotel Turquesa Playa also offers a Fitness Centre, which features a further smaller indoor heated swimming pool with Jacuzzi and sauna, along with a squash court, and multi-sports activity area for tennis, paddle tennis and volleyball etc.

The Hotel Turquesa Playa also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
