Part of the World renowned Sheraton Group of hotels, the 5 star Hotel Sheraton Mencey is situated in a quiet residential area, close to the centre of Santa Cruz old town on the rugged north east coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 65km north of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a short walk from the commercial centre of the city where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1950 and fully refurbished during the winter of 1988, the traditional Hotel Sheraton Mencey has a total of 286 luxurious guest rooms, which are built over 5 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone with ADSL internet connection point, satellite television, mini bar, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views.

In addition to the above features, a number of guest rooms at the Hotel Sheraton Mencey have also been specially adapted for disabled guests, and all rooms are provided with a daily maid service, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned a la carte restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and a lounge bar.

For business guests, the Hotel Sheraton Mencey also offers the use of 9 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 500 people, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.
