Hotel Iberostar Anthelia - Costa Adeje

Part of the prestigious Iberostar Group of hotels, the 5 star Hotel Iberostar Anthelia has an enviable position overlooking the sea front promenade and Playa de Fanabe beach, in the popular resort of Costa Adeje on the south west coast of Tenerife. The hotel is approximately 20km west of the Reina Sofia International Airport, and a few steps from the commercial centre of the resort where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops.

Built in 1999 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, which saw the creation of the new Thai ZEN Space Spa and Wellness Centre, the modern low rise Hotel Iberostar Anthelia has a total of 391 guest rooms, offering guests a choice of both standard and superior twin rooms, as well as duplex and superior Suites, all of which are distributed between 6 individual buildings with a maximum of 5 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean towards the nearby island of La Gomera.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, ADSL WiFi Internet access, a satellite television with music channels, safety deposit box available for rental, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen twice a week.

For business guests, the Hotel Iberostar Anthelia also offers the use of 9 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating between 40 and 350 people, all of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids including WiFi Internet access.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes 2 large outdoor freshwater swimming pools for adults, one of which for exclusive use for the guests accommodated in the Salome building, along with a further 1,500m2 saltwater pool, 2 smaller children's splash pools, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground and mini club, along with a hard surface tennis court, and both pool and table tennis tables.

Guests staying at the Hotel Iberostar Anthelia also have the opportunity to relax and unwind at the newly opened Thai ZEN Space Spa and Wellness Centre, which features an active pool, water cascades, special ocean waters, 40 degree pool, cold basin, sauna, hammam and sensorial showers and a relaxing area, as well as a variety of other cosmetic and beauty treatments developed from techniques and traditions from the most remote parts of Asia such as Thailand, Indonesia or the ayuverdic knowledge from India.

The Hotel Iberostar Anthelia also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
