Built in 1999 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern Hotel Dragos del Sur has a total of 78 guest rooms which are built over 7 floors. All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with refrigerator, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace with exterior views. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer includes a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes an outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's section, and spacious sun terraces which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, along with a Jacuzzi and hard surface tennis court.

The Hotel Dragos del Sur also provides a seasonal programme of evening entertainment, with either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
