Built in 1962 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2004, the modern Hotel Catalonia Las Vegas has a total of 261 guest rooms, including 234 standard twin rooms and a further 27 singles, which are built over 12 floors, and set amidst almost 1,500m² of sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces, around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms at the hotel are either air conditioned or centrally heated according to the season, and come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower and hairdryer, along with a direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental, and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area towards the sea. In addition to the above features, a daily maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required, and change of bed linen twice a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

For business guests, the Hotel Catalonia Las Vegas also offers the use of 2 large air conditioned conference and meeting rooms, seating a maximum of 100 people, both of which are equipped with a selection of modern audio visual aids.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, along with a further smaller children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities include a children's playground, along with a mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

The Hotel Catalonia Las Vegas also provides a seasonal programme of daytime sporting activities, organised each day by their resident animation team, featuring rifle shooting, water polo and aerobics, as well as evening entertainment, with a children's mini disco which is then followed by either live music, cabaret or other professional shows several times each week.
