Built in 1989 the modern Castle Harbour complex is a large development of one, two and three bedroom self catering apartments and studio flats, which are built over 9 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

Many of the apartments on the complex are privately owned and individually furnished and will typically come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with 4 electric cooking rings, refrigerator and microwave oven, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms with showers for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a hard surface tennis court, a small bowling green, equipment for both is available for rent at reception, and both pool and table tennis tables.
