Built in 1988 and extensively refurbished during the winter of 2006, the modern low rise Aguamar complex has a total of 140 guest rooms, offering a choice of both one and two bedroom self catering apartments, which are built over 5 floors, and set amidst spacious sub-tropical gardens and sun terraces around a large central pool area.

All guest rooms come equipped with a modern "en suite" bathroom with shower, along with an open plan kitchenette with electric cooking rings, refrigerator and microwave oven, a combined lounge/dining room with additional sofa beds, direct dial telephone, satellite television, safety deposit box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, many of which have exterior views over the pool and garden area. In addition to the above features, a maid service is also provided, undertaking a change of towels as required and change of bed linen once a week.

Guest facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception area with currency exchange services, and both luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, along with an air conditioned buffet style restaurant and snack bar with show cooking, offering a choice of traditional Spanish, international and vegetarian menus, as well as a games room, public internet terminals, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars.

Sporting and leisure facilities available to guests includes a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool for adults, with integrated children's splash pool, and spacious sun terraces and gardens which are furnished with loungers and parasols. Other leisure facilities includes a children's playground, along with a roof top terrace with Jacuzzi, offering panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean towards the old fishing port of Los Cristianos and the nearby island of La Gomera, a mini golf course and both pool and table tennis tables.

In recognition of the high standards of customer care and management systems, the Aguamar Apartments have been awarded the internationally recognised Spanish Tourism Quality Institute ´Q´ quality mark which is only granted to establishments which meet the highest standards of continuous improvement in all services.
